Instructions

Print out or write down the contents of this page. Review the instructions to be sure you understand them, and on 9/25/99, execute them. If you need help, feel free to call xyz at 235-0675.

1. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Internet or Internet Options, Connection, Properties, Server Types, TCP/IP Settings.

   Be sure you have the following information specified.

   1. Primary DNS is 0.0.0.0
   2. Secondary DNS is 0.0.0.0
   3. Server Assigned Name Server Addresses is selected
   
   

2. Dial into xyz, you will be prompted to enter your login name and password.

   Change the login name you use when dialing into xyz from your username to your username@xyz.net . For example, if your username is foobar, change your login name from foobar to foobar@xyz.net .

3. In your FTP or web publishing program, be sure you have the following information specified.

   • Server is ftp.xyz.net
   • If Directory is webpages , leave it at webpages
     If Directory is /home/username/webpages , change it to /home/xyz.net/username/webpages
   • Login Name is username@xyz.net
