Our first home! Things aren't final yet, but we had our offer accepted and are just waiting for the financing to go through. We're really excited about it. Excellent location for us: within walking distance to Georgia Tech, beautiful view with a lot of sunlight coming in, a great kitchen, and get this, we're pretty sure it's already appreciated since we bought it!
Yeah, you pay for condo living, but we do have some nice amenities: a space in the parking garage, swimming pool, workout room, lounge with pool table and small theater, heating and cooling costs covered, and more. Oh yeah, and the property came with a small storage space down stairs too.

The bedroom is rather large and has a window from ceiling to floor.
What can I say… it's a shower.
Another angle of the bathroom. The medicine cabinet needs to move up to free the small counter space, but hey it's our home, we can do what we want!
The kitchen is open to the living room creating a wonderful place to cook and entertain. Three tall windows make up the back wall of the living room, as well as a door to our balcony.
Here's another look at the living room windows and the balcony on the other side.
The balcony faces south and has plenty of room for Jeanie's herb garden and plants.
Ahh! Our view!! We are lucky enough to peer down into Bank of America's garden across the street. Nice to know that that property has been recently developed and we won't have anything blocking our view in the future.
Here's just a partial image of the Bank of America tower that accompanies the garden. Big and beautiful, but it really takes up only a small degree of our view. It's one of the tallest buildings in Atlanta and is illuminated at night, what a navigational aid!
A beautiful Gothic Church can be seen from the left side of the balcony. Some development in the background reminds us this is a location with value.
A large closet with 2 mirrored sliding doors and a wonderful closet organizer. with a built-in dresser!
