Phuket

Busy vacation mad town. Realized we were worn out and didn't neet to travel for as long as we intended.

Acquited snorkeling gear & snorkelled in 2 areas.

Phang Nga

Bay with amazing rock formations that appear to be rising up out of the water. Took a boat tour around the bay. Spent the night at a Muslim fishing village built completely on stilts over the water. 900 families live in the village.

The boa tour went through a mangrove and to many caves. We even snorkelled through a cave.

We saw mud skippers (walking fish) and flying foxes, the world's largest bat about the size of a samll dog with a wing span of a medium size hawk.

Krabi

We headed to the beaches & caves of Railay Beach mear Krabi. These beaches can only be reached by boat and are known for rock climbing. We didn't go on a rock climbing adventure, but did do some bouldering. We also climbed up this limestone cliff and then back down ino this lagoon. Dave went further than me and found a cave. The beaches were beautiful and in between the limestone cliffs, which meant lots of lounging & relaxing on the beach from Jeanie without fear of geting sunburnt.

Hat Yai

From Krabi we made or way by bus to Hat Yai to catch a rain to Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. We had to spend the night. Monday morning we woke up and got some breakfast at a Muslim restaurant. Funny enough, the TV was showing the Super Bowl. We were able to watch the 4th quarter.

Kuala Lumper

What a change from the rest of our travels. KL (Kuala Lumpur) is such a western city.
